"pistol", OK
"burglarize", No
If it has been a burglarize at one time in information technology's life, or if it was transferred as a long gun on the 4473, you can't build a pistol on information technology. If information technology was bought equally a bare or "stripped" receiver, you can build it as whatever you lot desire.

Can you legally build an ar pistol on a ar rifle lower or practice you lot take to use a pistol lower for it to be legal?
a friend of mine who has a pistol only to meet if it would fit but the long gun lower on a pistol is cool looking but not cool to shoot the back pressure level is nasty and not worth information technology and to put a long upper on a pistol lower is just stupid that bare buffer tube hurts like **** when it digs into you shoulder

Technically I don't think any. Just created a long barrel pistol. Equally long as a stock wasn't added you tin can change the uppers effectually as much as yous want and every bit long as there wasn't a foregrip on the upper
Edit: Nevermind totally illegal read it backwards the first fourth dimension

Of course it is. Short barreled rifles do look cool. And without the NFA tax stamp are a Federal felony to assemble or possess.but the long gun lower on a pistol is cool looking

For the people edifice thier own ARs at home :
Every bit a rifle configuration - it has to be a 16" barrel or longer upper to take a lower with a stock.
Equally a pistol configuration upper it has to be a shorter butt and can't accept a lower with a stock.
Annihilation in combination is subject area to Federal Law and Revenue enhancement. A pistol upper on a burglarize lower requires a "SBR" tax stamp, which is quite a few dollars sent to the Gov and red tape wrapped all over you. A Burglarize upper on a pistol lower is illegal anyway.
The simplest thing to do is - don't mix and match parts.

A Burglarize upper on a pistol lower is illegal anyhow.

Unless you can trace it back to the FFL and ask them to look upwardly the form, you tin't
Actually whatsoever Lower Receiver is currently listed on a form 4473 as "Other" They are no longer listed equally Long Gun or Handgun.
